TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The in this website mentioned tours and activities are organised and/or conducted by Valencia Wine Consulting & Tours (hereafter VWC&T), Plaza Manises 3, 12 in Valencia, Spain. VWC&T does not book flights and has no information on passports, visa, and the like.
Our tour quotations are valid for 14 days; after that we reserve the right to adjust them. Hotel prices (in Valencia) are very flexible and change every day – validity of hotel quotations are therefore limited; this will be made clear in email communications.
Prices and availability quoted by VWC&T are not guaranteed until the tour has been fully paid. Pricing and availability may change without notice. VWC&T is not responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur as a result of incorrect information or changed pricing from third parties.
Since our tours are all tailor made, in our email communications it will become clear what is included in the price, and what not, and if and which other specific terms and conditions apply.
After booking, the customer will receive a summary of the details of the tour, as well as vouchers for booked meals etc., if applicable. The customer is required to verify the details of the booking, and pass on the correct information to passengers travelling on the same booking.
Any changes in the programme (schedule, timing) will be communicated as soon as possible; VWC&T reserves the right to charge passenger(s) for any increase in taxes, fees or surcharges (i.e. fuel). The customer has the right to refuse the changes or charges and cancel the tour without paying cancellation fees.
Payment tours: VWC&T require a booking deposit of 20% to confirm the tour. The rest can be paid up to one month before the date of the tour. Most tours can however be booked at short notice, so there is room for variation – the details will be discussed by email. In principle VWC&T require full payment of booked tours one month before the date of the tour.
Hotel bookings: hotels may require a deposit two (or more) months before the arrival date, or full payment more than one month before the date of arrival. Hotel cancellation policy and fees depend on the hotel.
Cancellation fees: cancellation should be done in writing (email), and at least 6 weeks before the date of the tour. After that, cancellation fees apply:
1. Cancellation between 6 weeks to 1 month before the tour date: the deposit.
2. Cancellation between the 30th day (including) and the 14th day (excluding) before date of the tour: 35% of the total price of the tour.
3. Cancellation between the 14th day (including) and the 5th day (excluding) before date of the tour: 50% of the total price of the tour.
4. Cancellation between the 5th day (including) and the day of the tour (excluding): 80% of the total price of the tour.
5. Cancellation on the day of the tour (or no show): there will be no refund.
The cancellation fees are waived if the written request is received within a 3 business day grace period from your booking date.
Limitation of liability: Without limitation, passenger(s) assume the risk of, and agree that VWC&T is not liable for any damages arising from or related to any act of God or public enemies, arrest, restraints of any government or rulers of people, piracy, war, revolution, extortion, terrorist activity, threatened or actual rebellion, political upheaval, civil unrest, riots, fire, lockouts, explosion, collision, weather conditions, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, abnormal conditions or developments, closure of airports/seaports/hotels/train stations, carrier or supplier logistical problems, computer problems stranding, food or water poisoning, illness, grounding, perils of the sea, rivers, canals, locks or other waters, perils of navigation of any kind, theft, accident to or from machinery, boilers, or latent defects even though existing at commencement of the trip, desertion or revolt of crew, or lost/damaged/delayed luggage.
Travel /cancellation insurance is recommended, to protect both you and your vacation. This responsibility rests solely with you the customer and we advise you to find coverage that best fits your individual needs. By declining travel insurance, you acknowledge and accept liability for any cancellation penalties, damages and/or out–of-pocket expenses incurred. You also acknowledge and accept responsibility for arranging and paying for any treatment in case of a medical emergency while traveling.
When booking, the customer agrees to these VWC&T Terms and Conditions.
