Wine tasting in the old centre of Valencia
Your stay in Valencia is not complete without tasting good Valencian wine! With us you can taste the best local wines, made with native grapes, and you can learn about wine making and wine tasting.
They also make very good Cava in Valencia, so a Cava tasting is also possible! And even vermouth tastings are an option – vermouth has made a come back, with many wineries producing their own ‘vermut’.
A wine tasting does not have to be boring or serious business, of course! We regularly do wine tastings for hen parties and the like, and groups of young people that don’t usually drink wine – they always enjoy it. And here in Spain we don't spit out the wine at the wine tastings, we drink it!
Wine tastings can be real fun!
I usually do my wine tastings at a great little plaza in the old town of Valencia, close to the cathedral, in the ‘Barrio del Carmen’; we can do it in English, or other languages, for big and small groups.
We normally taste Valencian wine, which is much better than many people, even here in Valencia, think; and I like to use wine made with the native grapes like Bobal, Verdil or Mandó - grapes that cannot be found anywhere else.
You can of course choose the kind and number of wines we taste, and we could even include Cava, vermouth or Sherry wines, whatever you prefer!
Of course, we could also taste wines from other regions, whatever you prefer. The important thing is that you enjoy the wine tasting, and drink wine – if only because of its many health benefits!
Nowadays Valencia makes very good dry white wine – come and try them at our wine tastings!
With us you book your wine tasting without paying commission to middlemen! Our prices are reasonable, and depend on number of people, number of wines we taste, and the quality/price of those wines. You decide how much you want to spend!
You could send us an email or a message using the contact form, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. You could also book the tasting through TripAdvisor or Viator, but that would be more expensive due to the commission these platforms charge. Follow the link and you could also read the reviews there, posted by people who had done a wine tasting with us.
And of course you could get some nice tapas with your wine - we usually have some really nice Manchego cheese and ibérico ham, they go very well with the wines!
